Crown Jesus – Bangor Joint Church Project

From January to May 2012 Crown Jesus Ministries will be working in partnership with 20 churches within the Bangor area. The purpose of this partnership is to support an exciting programme of evangelism that could reach many people across the area with the good news of Jesus.

Below you will find events taking place. We encourage everyone who knows and loves the Lord to seize this tremendous opportunity and be involved in this programme. You could also be involved in the following ways:

* Pray for God’s powerful blessing upon the initiative

* Plan not only to attend events but also step out of your comfort zone and prayerfully invite non-Christian family members, friends and neighbours or work colleagues to come along.

‘If my people…’ Prayer Initiatives:

Saturday 3rd March 2012 ‘If my people…’ Prayer Event: 8-10:15pm Come along to meet with God’s people from all the partner churches to ask for His continuing blessing upon this initiative. February 8th & 15th 2012 Directions Course 7:45-9:45pm Running for five Wednesday evenings this wonderful evangelism training course is for all ages. This is a proven training programme that has been powerfully used by God. It will help all who attend learn more about relevantly living out and sharing their faith in this world. February 29th 2012, March 7th, 14th 21st & 28th 2012: The Journey: 7:30pm This five night course is a perfect opportunity to invite non-Christian contacts to. The couse also includes Sunday 25th March, with more details about this during the course. ‘The Journey’ will explore what the Christian life is about, giving people plenty of opportunity to ask and debate burning questions. Gala Dinner: Saturday 11th February 2012, 7:30pm Guest – Mr Dan Walker (BBC Sports Correspondent) The perfect opportunity to invite a non-Christian friend to a beautiful meal with musical accompaniment from one of Northern Ireland’s top jazz musicians, Susie Young and after dinner presentations from a top Christian celebrity. ‘1-Way’ Youth Initiatives: Sunday 25th March 2012 Youth Evangelism Training Seminar: 8:30pm. This is a course designed to help young people share their faith in a very practical way. Venue: Christ Church Primacy

Easter Wednesday: 11th – Friday 13th April 2012 Street Reach: 9:30am-3:30pm each day. Street Reach is designed for young (and not so young) people in churches to come together over three days an display acts of loving kindness in a community. Venue: TBC

Schools Work From January to May the Crown Jesus teams will be working in local primary and post-primary schools to engage with young people by taking Scripture Union meetings, R.E. classes and lunchtime special events. Venue: TBC

‘Klass Kids’ Initiatives: Friday 18th May 2012: Klass Kids Event 7:30pm This programme uses puppet ministry, music, drama and much more to communicate the love of God in a relevant way to children. Venue: TBC

Saturday 9th June 2012 Puppet Training Day: 11am-4pm This exciting day of training is for all people interested in puppet ministry. If you would like to start a puppet team in your church then this is a day not to miss. Puppets will be available for churches to purchase. Venue: Silverbirch Evangelical
