Missions

Who are we?
We are a group of people from the church ranging in age, gifts and interests but with this in common ....................we love God and want to see the Good News about Jesus go out to the ends of the earth! See team profiles for further details.
Our theme is ‘How can they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?' Romans 10v14.
What's our purpose?
To raise awareness of the work of Elim Missions through our Newsletters, church notice board and website
To raise financial support for our missionaries and the work of Elim Missions worldwide through various fundraising events
To support our Missionaries through prayer and contact e.g.: birthday cards/emails etc.
What's on & Where & When do we meet?
We usually meet the 1st Sunday of the month for our team meeting.
The Fundraising Team organise events all year round, both inside and outside the church and meet as and when required. In addition to the team we have a list of people who help out at events or just when they can.
We also hold missionary nights throughout the year when updates are given on our missionaries, time is given to praying for the work of Missions; sometimes we have guest speakers or live link ups with missionaries across the globe and of course there is always tea, coffee and buns!!
Anything else?
There is so much diversity in the Missions Team from working in admin behind the scenes, brainstorming for fundraisers, organising events, just helping out as and when required and much more. If you are interested in getting involved in any way please speak to Ruth Mckee or email us at bangorelimmissions@yahoo.co.uk.
